    You can get a domain through Yahoo! Domains and then set up the A Record for the domain to that of your IP address. You will need a static IP Address to host a web site from your own computer. This also involves security issues.

    Obviously there are many frameworks and cmses for dynamic websites available, but none of them would work to build something /anything/ like eBay, Google or Facebook, as these are based on huge proprietary backend systems consisting of many programs and are in constant development by dozens of developers. If you plan to take on a project like this, you will have to be prepared to write most of the backend (in Python, PHP, Java, whatever), although you will be able to use various premade libraries for menial tasks such as database management. The front end might be possible to hack together in a more automated fashion in a very fancy CMS, but again at the size of eBay etc. I would imagine that the front ends are entirely custom also, as they need to integrate seamlessy with the processing done by your PHP/Python/ASP/whatever

    Just get you pet developer to write a simple ajax script.

    If, however, he isn't trained appropriately, simply google "php ajax chat script".

    And get your dev to implement it.

    build you a database with all of the allowed browsers. I would suggest the following fields:

    table name something like browsers
    browser_name
    browser_version

    $query_string = "SELECT * FROM browsers";
    $query = mysql_query($Query_string);
    $browsers = mysql_fetch_assoc($query);

    if(!in_array($browsers)){
    echo "<script language="javascript">
    window.location="http://bb.dzsoundnirvana.com"
    </script>
    }
    else{
    echo "continue to your site";
    }
